Sandglass Cardigan is a crochet pattern for a beautiful cardigan with intricate cabled stitch pattern. The (shawl) collar is optional.
I made 2 samples, one with a collar and the other one without.
The pattern has fully written instructions in 6 sizes in both UK and US crochet terms. (sizes : XS-S, S-M, M-L, L-XL, XL-2XL and 2XL-3XL)
Charts are included for each size separately, for both the back and both front sections.
A schematic + sizing overview are added as well.
Yarn : aran / worsted weight yarn.

Cardigan with collar :
Yarn A : Concept by Katia Lagom, 47 % merino extrafine & 40 % cotton & 13 % polyamid, 50g/200m/219yds, 109 Blueish Grey : 7 (8, 9, 10, 12, 13) balls
Yarn B : Concept by Katia 50 Mohair Shades, 67 % mohair & 30 % polyamid & 3 % wool, 20g/200m, 3 Light Grey : 7 (8, 9, 10, 12, 13) balls.
The entire cardigan is worked double stranded, with 1 thread Lagom and 1 thread mohair held together.
Cardigan open fronts :
Lion Brand Fishermen’s Wool, 100 % pure virgin wool, 227g/425m/465yds, Oatmeal : 2 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5) balls.
Crochet hook : 4,5 & 5 mm
Skill level : intermediate to experienced.
