Marling into darkness shawl ! A topdown shawl, worked from the centre out. The body of the shawl is worked double stranded, creating a lovely marled effect. If you use 1 solid shade and 1 gradient shade together, you get an extra delicate gradient look. The border is worked single stranded and with smaller hook size. Fully written pattern, in US and UK crochet terms. Charts and schematic included. The shawl measures : 180cm/67.5in wide and 40cm/16in deep Yarn : Kokon Alpaca Lace, 100 % baby alpaca, 100g = 800 m/875yd. Crochet pattern for a trendy and feminine cardigan : 7 leaps cardi. The pattern is fully written in 5 sizes : XS - S - M - L and XL. You make this cardigan topdown, worked from the top to the bottom, completely seamless and in 1 piece. This assures a great and comfortable fit, and wonderfull shaping. Some refined details make this design an eyecatcher : 3/4 sleeves, and you can add a row of small buttons. There is a chart added with stitch pattern for the edgings. Yarn: sportweight yarn, or fingering/4ply/sockweight yarn. I made 2 cardigans : 1 with Scheepjes Sunkissed and 1 with Malabrigo Arroyo. Naiad Shawl is a crochet pattern for a topdown triangular shawl with wide wingspan. Measurements : 195 cm / 77,50 in wingspan, 46 cm / 18,25 in deep (measurements without fringe). Beasties : super cute soft toys ! Make a bunny, cat or bear. The toys are worked bottom up and have an almost completely seamless constructions, so no parts to sew on or put together. The pattern is available in UK and US crochet terms. Yarn : you can make the softies with any yarn, samples are made using : Lana Grossa Baby Soft, 60 % polyamid & 40 % cotton, 50g/150m/164yds. Rabbit : Shade 12 : Light Grey, or Shade 8 : Light Blue, or Shade 22 : Lilac : 1 ball. Cat : Shade 10 Jeans : 1 ball. Bear : Shade 21 Beige : 1 ball. You need ½ ball of yarn to make 1 soft toy. You start with the shawl tail in textured stitchwork, followed by a centre section with the same textured stitches along the straight side and more delicate V-sts along the curved side. Geometric blocks forming a lovely crocheted quilt. 12 different motifs, 12 beautiful colours and a compatible grey base colour forming a blanket that will make you happy ! This quilt is made with 58 entire motifs, and 10 half motifs. When all the motifs are crocheted, they need to be blocked. Next all motifs are sewn, with invisible stitches, on the wrong side of your blanket. At the end, a lovely grey border is crocheted arount the entire blanket.
