Aletta’s Cardigan : This design is made in 1 piece, starting with the wide back section worked upwards. Stitches are then increased to create both sleeves. Once sleeves are finished stitches are decreased again, while both front parts are worked on the cardigan separately. Finish by folding the cardigan and closing the side seams and sleeve seams. The cardi has a fluent drape and an intriguiging construction. Fully written instructions are available in English (both UK and US terms) and in Dutch. Crochet pattern for a ladies cardigan, with openworked lacy stitch pattern. You will be making a very trendy, comfortable cardigan. The samples are made in Scheepjes Linen Soft, but you can also make this design in a warm woolmix, or any other dk weight yarn. (Scheepjes Merino Soft, Scheepjes Softfun, ...) The pattern is fully written in 3 sizes : S-M, M-L and L-XL. The cardigan is worn with a bit of positive ease. There is a chart added, and a sketch with measurements too. Yarn : dk weight yarn. Crochet pattern for a large shawl worked sideways from tip to tip. Starting at the bottom with a point you go upwards and increase stitches until the desired width of the shawl. Next you work a centre straight part (where you change colours halfway this section). Continue by working downwards and decreasing stitches to finish with a point at the top of the shawl. Worked with 2 contrasting gradient yarns in hdc rows alternated with easy eyelet sections. The shawl measures : 240cm/94.5” long and 45cm/17.75” wide. (after blocking) The size is adjustable. Tramonto Shawl is made with the most beautiful handdyed baby alpaca yarn from ColoriNaturali. I made this triangular shawl during my summer holiday, and worked on it several nights during the sunsets. Tramonto is the Italian word for sunset. The shawl is worked topdown, and has a delicate lacy body section. The border has structured stitch patterns creating a more sturdy look. Measurements of the shawl : 184 cm/72,50 in wingspan and 55 cm/21,50 in deep. The size can be easily adjusted by making more or less pattern repeats (of both body and border section).
